At Atlantic Fabrics, we believe in the power of compassion and the joy of giving. That's why we were honored to be a part of the Dress a Girl project. Our role was simple yet impactful: providing fabric, free patterns, and collecting dresses to dress girls in dire circumstances. Our mission was clear, to collect 100 dresses right here in Nova Scotia and send them to Ukraine, spreading dignity and happiness with each stitch.
Last year's project was nothing short of extraordinary. Thanks to the generosity of our community, we collected a staggering 2,363 dresses! These dresses weren't just pieces of fabric; they were tokens of love, hope, and solidarity. They brightened the lives of those in need, making a real difference on the other side of the world. Atlantic Fabrics was proud to be part of such a meaningful initiative that showcased the incredible kindness and empathy of our community.
The results were heartwarming. With each dress sent to Ukraine, we shared a little piece of our hearts. The smiles on the faces of the girls who received these dresses were priceless, and the impact on their lives immeasurable.
