As Retail Store Manager you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations of the retail store, including customer service, merchandising and staff supervision. All retail store employees working in that location will report to you as the retail store manager. As the retail store manager you will report to the general manager.
Retail Store Details
The retail store is located at 1065 Central Avenue, Greenwood, NS. The store hours are 9:30 – 6:00 Monday to Saturday and 12:00 – 5:00 on Sunday. The work week consists of five (5) 8.5 hour shift with a 30 minute unpaid break and two 15 minute paid breaks each day.
As store manager you will be expected to dress appropriately and professionally when working.
Your salary will be based on experience and technical expertise. Manager wages are based on a sliding scale using Nova Scotia Department of Labour Minimum Wage standards, so your hourly wage would increase each April accordingly. You will be eligible for wage increases upon satisfactory annual performance reviews. In addition, you will be eligible monthly, quarterly and annual bonuses upon achieving financial objectives set by the general manager.
